Filling your own supplement blends starts with a reliable capsule shell. Two material options for Size 00 capsules
When ordering, you select one material variant per pack. The pack does not contain both types.
- Gelatine capsules – traditional shells made from animal-derived gelatine, known for dissolving readily once swallowed.
- Vegetarian HPMC capsules – a plant-based alternative made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, free from animal ingredients and suited to vegetarian preferences.
Why choose these empty capsules Size 00
- Fill your own blends: Add the dry powders or extracts you already use, in the quantities that suit you.
- Consistent format: Size 00 is a standardised capsule size, measuring roughly 23.3 mm in length with an approximate capacity of 0.68 ml.
- Machine compatible: The standard sizing works with a matching Capsule Filling Machine Size 00 for faster, tidier preparation.
- Reliable sealing: The two-part shell closes neatly to help keep dry contents contained.
- Dietary choice: Pick gelatine or HPMC to match your own requirements.
Please note that “Size 00” refers to the capsule format only. The amount a capsule holds depends on the density and packing of the powder, so empty capsules do not measure or guarantee any specific fill weight. Prefer a different format?
